Rivers burst their banks as storms sweep through south-east France

Heavy rains and gale force winds hit south-eastern parts of France on Monday night and Tuesday morning. Rivers burst their banks in the Ardeche, leaving over 6000 homes without power and causing a huge amount of damage. Fifteen areas have been put on storm alert. Read more: thelocal.fr
