1960s style on the runway at North Korea’s annual fashion show

Models on the runway at Pyongyang’s annual fashion show were seen sporting 1960s Chanel-inspired styles and rising hemlines. Fashion photographer Aram Pan from Singapore photographed the event, pointing out that he’s noticed hemlines getting shorter and the colour palette getting bolder since his first trip to North Korea a few years ago. Pan also noted that the North Korean models smiled, a contrast to western runway models who often pout or frown. Read more: dailymail.co.uk
