Museum dedicated to filial piety opens in China

A museum dedicated to filial piety has opened in Qionglai in Sichuan province. Filial piety is a traditional Confucian value which encourages extreme respect for one’s elders, particularly parents and ancestors. The Filial Piety Museum (孝道博物馆,Xiàodào bówùguǎn) incorporates exhibits with stories about children’s respect for their parents, as well as photos, videos and objects that represent the virtue.
