Potoroos released at national park in New South Wales, Australia
The long-nosed potoroo has been re-introduced into Booderee National Park on the South Coast of New South Wales by Parks Australia in a bid to boost its numbers. Previous populations were killed off by wild dogs and foxes. It is hoped the improved park habitat will be better able to support this adorable Australian mammal. Read more: abc.net.au
