Bat-signal in the sky not far off for Japan

A Japanese company has unveiled technology that allows free-floating images to be projected into thin air, much like the Bat-signal, at a science museum in Tokyo. The company hopes that one day it could be used in a similar manner to the Caped Crusader, alerting people to natural disasters such as warning of an approaching tsunami. Read more: japantimes.co.jp
