Search continues for Korean tourists after Phuket boat crash

A man and a woman from Korea are still missing after the speedboat they were travelling in struck a fishing vessel near Phuket on Sunday evening. The tourist boat was carrying nearly 40 passengers between the holiday islands of Ko Phi Phi and Phuket. Thai authorities are desperate to restore the kingdom’s reputation as a tourist haven, which has been marred by a series of incidents involving tourists in recent months, including the murder of two British backpackers on the southern resort island of Koh Tao in mid-September.
