Tower Bridge starts tours of off-limits walkways and hydraulics

Engineering tours of London’s Tower Bridge are now available. The two-hour tours will run from 15 November until March and take in the 42m-high walkways over the Thames, plus normally off-limits rooms that house the controls and hydraulics that raise the iconic bridge. The tours, which cost £50, can be arranged during the rest of the year when booked in advance by a large group, but these visits are open to smaller groups and individuals. Read more: londonist.com
