Archaeologists have discovered cave paintings dating back to the Third Bronze Age in southern Russia. The paintings were found in Khasaut gorge near the Caucasian town of Kislovodsk and are estimated to date from 3000 BC. There are five large fragments made using ochre paint. One drawing features a hunting scene and scholars believe some figures from another world are also represented. Read more: themoscowtimes.com
