Belgrade’s October Salon focuses on photographs

Belgrade is hosting the 55th annual October Salon, Serbia’s leading  international contemporary art show, entitled ‘Disappearing Things’. The focus is on the contemporary overproduction of photographs, with the Snapchat application providing particular inspiration this year. Works in a variety of formats, including traditional photographs, digital images and video, by more than 30 artists and art groups from Serbia, Macedonia, Lithuania, Germany, Belgium and the USA are exhibited at the salon. The programme also includes guided tours, conversations with the artists, film projections, workshops and kids’ events. The salon is open until 2 November. Read more: balkaninsight.com
