Russians turn to crocodile as beef and pork banned

Since imported beef and pork have been banned in Russia due to Western sanctions, the country’s officials have approved the import of crocodile meat as a replacement. Frozen crocodile meat will be supplied to Russian markets by a company from the Philippines. Russian media report that authorities are also considering importing buffalo meat from India.
