Come and hit the peak everyone talks about. An iconic run (we use the term ‘run’ very loosely here) up to 1578m above sea level provides an amazing 360 degree view of Lake Wanaka, Mt Aspiring National Park and the surrounding area.
Included in the tour is pick/up and drop off in Wanaka, snacks, sunscreen, insect repellent, transport to and from Roys Peak, a guided run of Roys Peak, commentary and discount to local leading outdoor retailer - Outside Sports.
Pick ups are from 7am, usually the tour will take 4-5 hours, returning around 12pm. Roys Peak is 16km return.

Pickup from 7am, return approx 11am-12pm. Weather dependent. (Not available 1st October – 10th November, track closed for lambing). 2 person min, single supplement is available.. While the mountains are our primary focus (there’s kinda a lot of mountains around Wanaka) we do have a few ‘flatter’ runs for those looking to take things a little easier. The guided runs are classed as runs however we do a lot of ‘power hiking’ on the majority of the ascents (as to not blow up and bonk!).
