Join your guide in Te Anau. Take a short trip by coach to Te Anau Downs. Cruise by catamaran to the head of the lake and the start of the Mlford track. Follow the Clinton River for a short way, cross a swing bridge and then on through ancient beech forest to the Clinton Hikers Hut. A delicious picnic lunch and hot drinks will be served beside a mountain stream or at the Hut.Your nature guide will point out the interesting human and natural history of the track along the way and there is plenty of time for you to relax, take photos and view the bird life.
