Your itinerary for the day could start or end with the visit to the Famous Larnach Castle. Afternoon Tea is available in the Ballroom Cafe for 'Castle' made scones with jam and cream even Scottish shortbread. This is at your own cost. By the inland route and scenic drive through to the Castle, stop for the Castle tour and refreshment ,then continue on to the Otago Peninsula with possible views of the Albatross in their nesting ground. Also the chance to see the yellow eyed penguin. Your return journey would follow the coastal route with amazing high point stops for photos.Baldwin Street – the steepest street in the World! The spectacular photos from the top are certainly a treat. However view from the bottom, half way walk or right up to the top!The Hub of Dunedin is where you can taste the best coffee and decadent treats such as a huge sugar donuts and syringe your own selected cream, visit the art gallery or St Paul’s Cathedral. (amazing 250 organ pipes!).This is at your own cost. The 40 minute journey back to your ship via the coastline route offers amazing photo stops along the way of The Otago Harbour and the secluded bays. If time allows a short detour to Grassy Point will give you even more amazing views.As you depart the Harbour you are likely to see the famous Albatross reeling in the skies above.The tour is fully custom designed for you on the day.
