Tour description provided by Viator

Explore the virgin trail of Manaslu Circuit, home to the the 8th highest mountain in the world, Mt. Manaslu.  The 13 days all-inclusive trek will take you to some of the most restricted and remote areas of Nepal, and experience the Tibetan side of the country.  Enjoy the breathtaking natural beauty of Nepal as you pass by rice terraces, rivers, water falls and hanging bridges.  This includes side trips to Bihendra Lake (one of the highest glacier lakes in the world), Gumba monastery (a hundred year-old Buddhist template), Manaslu Base Camp (4,750m above sea level), Birendra Lake (one of the highest glacier lakes in the world) Larke pass and Tibetan border.   The trip includes food and accommodation in the mountain, government-licensed guide.
# 1. It is surrounded by snowcap mountains towering at above 8,000m. Not to mention the above 5,000m pass crossing! Very few places on this earth will have these combinations! # 2. It is a remote and off-the-beaten-path compared to the other well-known teahouse treks in Nepal. Manaslu trek gained popularity since tea houses were built in 2010. Prior to that, you had to camp. #3. It is not as crowded as other popular trails in Nepal.Less than 8,000 tourist visits Manaslu every year while Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek has over 30,000 visitors annually. # 4. It is relatively cheaper than EBC. You don't have to spend more than $320 alone on a flight ticket to Lukla. # 5. It is rich in culture. The Tibetan-origin Nepalese live here and practice their own ancient form of dialect, culture and religion. # 6. Manaslu trek offers more side-trips than any other trail. You can spend more than 3 weeks and venture into different places such as, Manaslu Base Camp, Pungeen Gomba, Tibetian border, Birendra lake. # 7. Because it follows a circuit trail, every day is a new route as you make a loop in this trek. # 8. Because it is generally safer. There is a lower chance of altitude sickness due to the long days of reaching high elevation and side trips. # 9. Part of "The Great Himalayan Trail". Manaslu is one of the major parts of "The Great Himalaya Trail".   # 10. It is an adventure.  In 2003, the Manaslu peak had 240 successful ascents and 52 fatalities, making it the 4th most dangerous 8000m+ peak (after Annapurna, Nanga Parbat, and K2). 13 Days Itinerary for Manaslu Circuit Trek   Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Soti Khola via Arughat - 710m (7-8 hrs)Day 2: Trek from Soti Khola to Macche Khola - 930m (7-8 hrs)Day 3: Trek from Maccha Khola to Jagat - 1410m (6-7 hrs)Day 4: Trek from Jagat to Deng - 1804m (6-7 hrs)Day 5: Trek from Deng to Namrung - 2630m (6-7 hrs)Day 6: Trek from Namrung to Samagaon - 3530m (6-7 hrs)Day 7: Rest day & a side trip to MBC/Bihendra Lake - 3530m (6-7 hrs)Day 8: Trek from Samagaon to Samdo - 3860m (4-5 hrs)Day 9: Rest day & a side trip to Tibetan border/day hike - 3860m 8-9 hrs)Day 10: Trek from Samdo to Dharmasala - 4460m (4-5 hrs)Day 11: Trek Dharmasala to Bimthang via Larke pass - 5160m  (8-10 hrs)Day 12: Trek from Bimthang to Goa - 1700m (5-6 hrs)Day 13: Trek from Goa to Dharapani and drive back to Kathmandu (8-9 hrs)
