Tour description

The journey to Poonhill starts from Kathmandu. On arrival day, you enjoy Nepalese cultural dinner along with cultural dance program in the evening. Then, in the next day, you depart for Pokhara and your trek starts from Nayapul.

Day 1: Arrive in KathmanduYou will be picked up and transferred to hotel by our representative. You can enjoy Nepalese cultural dinner along with cultural dance program in the evening.Day 2: Drive to PokharaYou have breakfast. Then, you get ready to drive Pokhara. Upon reaching, you have some time to rest. You go for boating in Fewa Lake. At evening you can see the pleasant view of the sunset as well. You can capture that wonderful scene in your camera. Day 3: Drive to Nayapul and trek to TirkhedungaThe first-day trek starts at Nayapul after 1 and half hours driving by private vehicle from Pokhara. After 20 minutes you begin with a short walk along the banks of the Modi Khola. Then you reach Birethanti (1,015m) a large village that has many shops and teahouses. The main inhabitants of this village are Gurung, Magar and Thakali. The trail continues following the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola through villages and climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille (1,495m). After the short climb, you reach Tikhedhunga (1570m). Day 4: Trek Tirkhedunga to Ghorepani You begin a journey with a steep climb to large Magar village at Ulleri (2,070m). Then the trail continues to ascend more gently, through dense forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). Occasionally, you can see Lonmgur (long tail black mouth Monkey) jumping in the trees. Then you trek towards Nangethanti (2,460m), after an hour walk you arrive at Ghorepani (2840m). Day 5: Hike up Ghorepani to Poonhill then to Tadapani You hike about 45 minutes up to Poon Hill (3210m) early in the morning. This viewpoint provides an unobstructed and beautiful view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas with panoramic view giants Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Annapurna (8,091m), Machhapuchere, Nilgiri, Hiuchuli, South Annapurna etc. Additionally, you can see a network of other peaks, slowly beginning to appear like magic before our eyes. You come back to Ghorepani for a hot breakfast and start walking to Tadapani. Here the trail climbs alongside ridges with pine and rhododendron forests to the Deurali and then descends through beautiful waterfalls, streams, and dense forest to Banthati. The streams have some clear pools alongside the trail which finally climbs up to the final destination Tadapani meaning ‘hot water.’Day 6: Trek to Ghandruk then to Nayapul and drive to PokharaYou trek back to Ghandruk, a beautiful Gurung village. You can see mules here. You trek back to Nayapul from where you will drive to Pokhara.Day 7: Return back to KathmanduAfter your breakfast, you drive back to Kathmandu. On the way, you can see Himalayan Rivers. After six to seven hour drive you will reach Kathmandu.Day 8: Departure dayYou will dropped to airport.

Itinerary
