Tha Wan Razi

Chinese in Putao

A popular restaurant in the middle of town, this place has electricity all day via batteries. The food is predominantly Chinese with a few Burmese and Kachin dishes on the modest menu. By night it is probably the closest thing to a bar in town, and some locals gather here for cold beer.

The owners also operate a small guesthouse with the cheapest rooms in town at US$20, but were not allowed to accept foreigners at the time of writing.
