Explore the off-the-beaten-track tour in Myanmar by visiting to Sittwe, the capital of Myanmar’s western Rakhine State, and Mrauk U, once the thriving capital of the then-might Rakhine (Arakan) Empire, relax the free time in Ngapali beach, the Archaeological Tour in Bagan and the ancient city of Mandalay, sightseeing tour on a long-tail boat on Inle Lake and the commercial city Yangon.
Day 1 Yangon ARRIVAL (-/-/-) – Arrival to Yangon. Day 2 Yangon/Sittwe (Flight) (B/-/-) – Fly to Sittwe. Visit to a traditional fishing market, Sittwe Buddhist Library and Rakhine Cultural Museum if time permits. Day 3 Sittwe-Mrauk U (Boat), Mrauk U Sightseeing (B/-/-) – Transfer to jetty for the boat to Mrauk U. If time permits, explore some town around Mrauk U, Shittaung Pagoda, Dukenthein Temple and Laymyanthar Pagoda. Day 4 Mrauk U (Chin Village) (B/-/-) – Boat trip takes you to a village Chin communities where many of the women’s faces are adorned with tattoos. Back to Mrauk U, visit to Laungbwonbrauk, Sykya Manaung, Ratana Manaung and the temples at Andawthein and Koethaung. Then enjoy sunset from Mandalay Hill. Day 12 Inwa-Sagaing (B/-/-) – Visit to Inwa including the ‘leaning tower of Ava’, Maha Aungmye Bonzan and Bagaya Kyaung. Continue to Sagaing to enjoy the view of thousands of stupas at Sagaing Hill and sunset. Day 13 Mandalay/Heho (Flight), Pindaya-Kalaw (B/-/-) – Fly to Heho, visit to Pindaya Caves and continue to Kalaw. Day 14 Kalaw-Inle (car), Inle sightseeing (B/-/-) – Take an early morning stroll through Kalaw’s market before drive to Inle. Sightseeing on a long-tail boat on Inle Lake, visit silk weaving and lotus industries in Inn Paw Khone Village, in Nanpan to witness work at a Cheroot factory and Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda. Day 15 Indein sightseeing (B/-/-) – Travel to Indein to observe a 17th century Pagoda complex and the small communities, floating gardens and souvenir shops. Day 16 Heho/Yangon (Flight), Yangon sightseeing (B/-/-) – Fly to Yangon. Sightseeing including Chauk Htat Gyi, National Museum, the bustling Chinatown area and Bogyoke Aung San Market. Day 17 Yangon Departure (B/-/-) – Transfer to airport for departure.
