It is located south of Sakangyi and south-west of Taunggyi. Bawrithat Pagoda lies in the southern part of the town. Nyaungshwe the tourist hub for visiting Inle Lake and Inlay Lake Wetland Sanctuary. It consists of one main thoroughfare with numerous side streets and a few parallel roads. The main street has numerous shops, several restaurants, a few stupas, travel agencies and a market (located behind the storefronts). Near the end of this road, a bridge crosses the river channel near an impressive mirror-tiled stupa.The town serves as a marina for the numerous long boats carrying tourists into the lake. The lake itself is located a few kilometers south through a river channel.Nyaungshwe can be reached by bus, car, or by plane via the airport in Heho, located about a one-hour drive away.
09:00: Pick up from your hotel and move to Nyaung Shwe Local market. You can explore the life of local people and local products.
10:00: Proceed to Shwe Yan Pyay Pagoda.
10:10: Arrive to Shwe Yaunghwe Kyaung, It is probably the most photographed monastery in Nyaung Shwe and the unique oval windows in the ancient style, created a perfect frame for portraits of the novices.
11:15: Continue to Cultural Museum.
11:45: Arrive to Cultural Museum, the history of Shan Sawbwa. It display costumes of Shan Sawbwa, their utensils, furniture and religious material.
12:30: Depart from Museum and transport for Lunch.
13:30: Proceed to Khaung Daing Natural Hot Spring.
14:00: Arrive to Hot Spring and take a relax.
15:30: Depart from Spring and continue to Red Mountain Vineyard.
16:00: Arrive to Red Mountain Estate. You can view the beautiful scenery from there and enjoy the awesome sunset. You can also taste the wine.
18:00: Return back to hotel.
