Full-day guided small group tour of Bagan in which you'll discover Bagan on the banks of the Ayerwaddy River, home to the largest area of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world, many dating to the 11th and 12th centuries. The local stationed guides are regional guide license holders awarded from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.At 8:30am, you will start your full day city tour in Bagan with the most famous Shwezigone Pagoda, built by King Anawratha but not completed until the reign of Kyansitthar.You'll next continue to Kyansithar Umin which features long dimly lit corridors decorated with frescoes.Then, you'll visit Htilominlo Temple, a 150ft high temple with fine plaster carvings, glazed sandstone decorations in the base and Ananda Temple, one of the most beautiful temples in Bagan built by King Kyansitthar.Next will be lunch at one of the local restaurants around 12pm.After lunch, you'll continue your tour to Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple with mural paintings, then to Manuha Temple which houses four immense Buddha images, and Myinkaba lacquerware village to see the manufacturing stages.If time permits, you will be able to explore the magnificent pagodas and temples on the way.In the evening, you will have the opportunity to view the sunset from Shwesandaw Pagoda.The tour will finish around 6:30 pm after sunset and the car will transfer back to your hotel.
