Green Hill Valley

Wildlife in Kalaw

Eight fortunate elephants no longer fit for work in the government's timber camps have come to retire at Green Hill Valley, founded in 2011 by a family with a history of working with elephants. All visitors interact with the elephants, helping to feed and bathe them, and also get to plant a tree as part of the camp's reforestation project.

It is essential to make a reservation before visiting the camp. There's a two-person minimum.
