The air-conditioned car (or local boat) and guide from Nice Style Travel & Tours will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00 am. The local stationed guides are regional guide license holders awarded from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. At 8:30 am, you will start your boat tour to Indein pagoda complex and nearby village of Pa-O hill tribes, located on western bank of Inle Lake. The village is not on the lake but can be reached via a short and enjoyable boat ride through irrigation canals. It is an archaeological site worthy to visit where hundreds of Shan style ruined pagodas stand on slop of a hill. Some of the pagodas dated back to 17th and 18th centuries.On the boat trip, you will visit the market places, floating villages and floating gardens, silk & lotus stem weaving cottages. You can also see Inthar technique of leg-rowing where one leg is wrapped around the paddle to drive the boat and also their traditional way of fishing.After visiting Indein Pagoda Complex, return back to Inle and transfer to local restaurant for lunch.After your lunch, visit the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains 5 sacred Buddha images.Then, visit Nga Phe Kyaung (also known as Cat Jumping Monastery), one of the oldest monasteries on the lake to see ancient Buddha images.Discover how the Burmese cigars are rolled by hand in a cheroot factory. The tour will finish around 5:00 pm and the car or boat will transfer back to your hotel.
