i am planning to travel on 13.07.2018 .i will visit southern cities , Agadir
To dakhla . I seek someone who can travel with me because it's my first trip to south of morocco .
if someone is available at that date, we can make a program together, to visit the places that we put in the program and to find hosts in different cities ,
I hope if someone is available to that date in order to traveling together or with friends.
I'm looking for some specific recommendations and contact information about guides that have a background in history, sociology, or art.
I've read many posts, travel blogs, and guidebooks. Many people say "do it on your own" "get a map" "getting lost is part of the fun." I totally respect that attitude and in many cases that's my attitude too. But I miss things when my nose is in my notes or a map. I also have limited time and am trying to see too much in too short of…
I am preparing a trip to Morocco in 2019 and using the LP in french "Maroc", and it says (p.279 of 10th edition) ATM are easy to find but numerous of them do not allow withdrawal of more than 200 Dh.
It seems awfully low to me, specially considering that a number of places do not accept credit card. Is it a mistake?
I'll be in Morocco from the middle of October to November. I'll fly into Marrakesh, stay for a day or two and then travel to the Dades Valley and Gorge. After that, I'll be doing the Jebel Sahro transverse trek and will end up in Nekob. I'm thinking that I'd spend a day or two in Agdz after the trek. I was also thinking that I'd like to travel further into the Draa Valley to get the experience of sand dunes, but I'm unsure of where to visit. Zagora? M'Hamid? I don't think that…
I'm just making preliminary enquiries about trekking to the summit of Toubkal in September
I'm an experienced trekker and it seems that it's straightforward to walk to the summit in September without a guide
Firstly a couple of questions - do the Toubkal refuges (I believe there are two of them) need to be booked in advance?
Do you need to bring your own sleeping bag to stay in the refuge (I would prefer not to have to carry a sleeping bag)?
we need to get from Marrakech to Laayoune (we have 4 days to do that).
Is there a chance that any car rental in Marrakech will allow us to drop off the car in Laayoune? (or TanTan or El Ouatia and then go by bus).
We know that we can go by bus but we prefer our own trace.

Clearly not a travel question. However, some on here are longstanding Morocco watchers so...
The previous Moroccan Minister of Tourism was, something of an interesting figure, Lahcen Haddad. Haddad picked up some awards, for his role, but was he in any good in that role?
( I am digging away at this very moment. )
I just had someone recommend an app that (unlike google maps) actually includes the Fez Medina streets. But I forgot the name of the app? I thought it might be “here to go” or something like that but that’s not popping up on the App Store. Any suggestions??
