In the morning, meet your mountain guide and driver and head south to atlas foothills. En-route stop ASNI village for a walking in the weekly Berber market to admire the lovals’ real activity life (held every Saturday), then continue your drive to Imlil. Once you get there at 5000ft, you will be taken on a walk or ride mules through juniper and pine forest to Ouaoufghast pass at an altitude of 7000ft, where you will be enjoying views of mountain peaks and perched Berber villages on the hillsid.
Meet your driver at your accommodation or in an accessible and prefixed meeting point for at 9.00 am, then head and head south to the atlas foothills. The first stop in Tahnaout village at one of the Arganan Oil Co-operative to learn how women extract oil from the argan fruit and turn it into different cosmetic and digestive products. We continue our drive through Asni village, where a Berber Market held on Saturdays.Upon arrival in Imlil village at 5000ft, we meet our local mountain guide, you will be taken on a walk or ride mules (Optional) through juniper and pine forest to Ouaoufghast pass at an altitude of 7000ft, where you will be enjoying views of mountain peaks and perched Berber villages on the hillside.Next cross rocky area to get to Armed village at 6000ft, where you will have a chance to visit local families and share tea with them before you enjoy your walk down towards the local restaurant for lunch. After the meal, you will head downhill through orchards to Imil before transferred back to your Marrakech hotel. *03hs30mn walk (Soft trek)
