Durmitor is the largest National Park in Montenegro, which has been put on the UNESCO List of The World’s Natural and Cultural Heritage” since 1980. Its highest peak is “Bobotov Kuk”, which is 2,525 meters above sea level, and beside it, there are 48 mountain peaks which are over 2,000 meters above sea level. Durmitor is embellished with 18 ice lakes, which are named “Mountain Eyes”. Besides visiting National Park Durmitor with it's Black Lake, you can also enjoy the beautiful scenery from the Djurdjevića Tara Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges in Europe. The Monastery of Ostrog is the holy place in Montenegro and is one of the most frequently visited monasteries in the Balkans, which is visited by worshipers of all confessions from all over the world. The monastery has been founded by Archbishop Basil (Vasilije) in the 17th century A.D. Is recommend spending 30 minutes visiting upper monastery Ostrog (built into the cliff).
