After hotel pickup in Playa del Carmen, you will head to Chichen Itza. The sacred city of the Itzáes marvels us every time the k’in Ahau (sun in the Mayan language) sets on March 21st and September 21st, during the spring and fall equinoxes.See the Kukulkan Castle, known as The Pyramid and learn about the past, with the many sculptures and representations of feathered serpents and Chaac masks. You'll also see the ball game which represents the important ceremony established by the gods themselves, according to the sacred pages of Popol Vuj (the sacred book of Mayans). Then, head to see the Astronomical Observatory, also known as The Snail and the area of The Church. Then, head to ‘The place of the wind’, Cenote Ik Kil. This was an essential part for the active life of Chichen Itzá and it is nowadays open to the public for the delight of visitors from all around the world. You will swim in the waters and feel the calmness of this place. You will have lunch at the restaurant of the cenote and then head to visit Coba Ruins. These ruins are one of the most important cities in the period of glory of the Mayan civilization. With about 50,000 inhabitants at its peak and a total area of 80 km2, there are many iconographic power monuments in its representations and internal and external zac beoobs (white paths) that connect buildings and cities among themselves. The longest path is runs 62 miles (100 kilometers) and reaches Yaxuna, another Mayan city.Climb the 137 foot (42 meters) high pyramid and live the mysticism of the past is something unique in life. Its Mayan past and present turn this place into a living treasure. The two kilometer tour to the main pyramid can be done by tricycle (a taxi for two with a driver included) or by bicycle on flat paths, to turn this experience into something memorable.  Tour ends with hotel drop-off.
