Mexican in Mérida

With influences of dishes from Oaxaca, which like the Yucatán is known for its extraordinary regional cuisine, Apoala reinvents popular dishes such as enmoladas (stuffed tortillas in a rich mole sauce) and tlayudas (a large tortilla with sliced beef, black beans and Oaxaca cheese). It's in a lovely spot on Parque Santa Lucia and rubs shoulders with some other great eateries.
