Friendly English-speaking baristas can prepare your high-quality roasts however you prefer (Chemex, syphon, Aeropress), or whip up an elegant cappuccino; and the setting invites lingering. Wines are also available, though only by the bottle (from M$240 to M$1650).

    Cervecería Durango

Although cervecería (brewery) is a bit of misnomer at a place with just one craft beer on offer (the decent Mexicali-brewed Cucapá), this three-story bar makes a lively spot for an evening drink – and it tends to draw a more sophisticated crowd than the drinking dens on Constitución. Go early to score a table on the top-floor terrace.
