Head to the island of Cozumel, two hours off the coast of Riviera Maya, for a full day of boat-riding, snorkeling, fun and games on the 11-hour day trip. Explore the wonders of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world's second largest, with a professional guide. All equipment is provided, as is hotel pickup and drop-off from Cancun or Riviera Maya, refreshments (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and lunch.Discover "El Cielo" is a sandbar located 800 meters from the Cozumel coast. It gets its name because in this place you can swim and practice snorkeling and see a lot of starfish in the background.The snorkeling time will take place at 2 different coral reefs called, Palancar and Colombia!
After pickup from you Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel starting at 7am, head to the ferry terminal in Playa del Carmen, pay a US $5 dock fee, and board the ferry to Cozumel. On the 2-hour trip to Cozumel, relax and enjoy the sea breeze and views of the mainland. Once in Cozumel, jump on a pirate boat, which will take you to three different reefs for snorkeling. While on board, enjoy a welcome cocktail, beer, bottled water, or soda ocean. Listen to music, play board games, or simply enjoy being out on the Caribbean. At each reef, strap on the provided snorkel equipment and dive in, swimming with schools of tropical fish and exploring the beautiful coral of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the world's second largest.When you're done with your water adventure, head ashore to a local restaurant and enjoy a delicious complimentary lunch (including domestic beers and non-alcoholic drinks) before heading back to the port, catching the ferry back to Playa del Carmen, and returning to your hotel about 11 hours after departing.
