ItineraryThis is a typical itinerary for this productOur Freediving Level 1 Course is a two days experience. We’ll take you through a journey of discovering how you are able to hold your breath and relax to feel comfortable in the water depths. Both days we’ll go over the theory, covering topics such as breathing techniques, equalization, freediving physiology, safety and everything you need to start your path in freediving. Your days will start at our shop at 8:30 am with a theory session of 1:30 hr, followed by a drive in our comfortable a/c minivan (45 min to 1 hr) to the beautiful Cenotes that the Riviera Maya offers us. Once in the Cenote we do some stretching for freediving followed by 2 sessions of 1 hr in the water. After the class we get out of the water and provide you with a light lunch, sandwich, some fresh fruits, snacks and water as we start heading back, arriving at our shop around 4:00 pm.During the water sessions we’ll introduce you to the different disciplines of freediving such as: Free-immersion and constant weight, followed by different skills to be performed as requirements of the course: constant weight to 10 Mts, ascent without a mask, ascent with only arms and rescue drill from 10 mts.
