Riviera Maya has much more to offer than great resorts! With this private 10 to 12 hour tour you will experience some of the classic and unique experiences that keep bringing back tourists year after year. You’ll get a chance to visit one of the most popular Mayan ruins in the area, Tulum, with breathtaking views from top of a bluff over looking the turquoise Caribbean waters. You will also get to explore a local cenote which are watering holes unique to the Yucatan Peninsula, and you will finish your adventure with a guided snorkeling tour on the second largest barrier reef in the world.
We will pick you up at your requested time at your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel in an air-conditioned, fully licensed and insured tourism van. We will then take a short drive to Puerto Morelos to have breakfast at a local spot that offers a large variety of typical dishes to choose from. After breakfast we will have about an hour and a half drive to Tulum ruins.You will visit Tulum ruins with a personal host that will give you a personalized tour of the site and snap pictures of you and your loved ones around the site. After the Tulum ruins visit we will take a short drive to a cenote which will give you a chance to cool off on the crystal clear waters. The cenote offers an open area, a cavern and a cave that you can explore.After the cenote experience we will take the group to a restaurant in Akumal for lunch (lunch fees not included). The restaurant is right on the edge of Half Moon Bay offering some great views for you to enjoy your lunch. They offer a combination of classic Yucatecan dishes and their own recipes playing with local flavors.After lunch we will have about an hour drive heading back north to Puerto Morelos where you will do a boat snorkeling tour. You will be taken to two different spots to enjoy the reef and the amazing underwater world. A local guide and personal host will be in the water with you helping you make the most out of this experience. All equipment will be provided.
