Begin and end the hike to Mare Longue Reservoir (12km return, moderate, four hours) at the Pétrin Visitor Centre, taking in a dwarf native forest and a large reservoir at the little-visited northern tip of the park. Sightings of the pink pigeon and echo parakeet are possible.
