Baa Atoll offers superb diving in pristine waters, just as you'd expect in Maldives' first Unesco World Biosphere Reserve. There are dozens of dive sites here, although some of the more famous ones do suffer from heavy use.

Baa is home to some of the most luxurious and sophisticated resorts in the country, and the atoll's Unesco World Biosphere Reserve status has only added to the cachet of staying here. Independent tourism is also booming in the atoll, with growing numbers of guesthouses on several inhabited islands.

All resorts in Baa Atoll have plentiful eating options for their guests. Elsewhere on the atoll's inhabited islands you will find simple 'short eats' available in cafes to supplement meals offered in guesthouses.
