What brings people here is Ratha’s Kari Kepala Ikan Raub (fish-head curry, small portion RM55), served fresh in a metal tureen of fiery curry, green chilli, string beans, local eggplant and a special variant of light tofu that’s been puffed with air – and, of course, the tender meat from the split head of a large red snapper.

Ratha’s also has other meals including a variety of other curries and very tasty and spicy lamb chops (RM12.50).
