Negeri Sembilan is best known for the liberal use of bird's-eye chillies and for Seremban's signature dishes: soupy beef noodles and pork bao. Otherwise the state's food scene is unlikely to be a major highlight of your time in Malaysia.

All towns have at least a decent food court or open-air market, but options are widely dispersed in Port Dickson – hotel restaurants are a good bet.
