Five-star comfort with a freshly refurbished lobby contrasting sober dark woods with soothing lighting seguing blue to pink. Rooms are less inventive with international, somewhat anonymous decor, and flatscreens, minibar and cable TV. That said, at the time of research rooms were due a date with the makeover wizard, so watch this space. Prices come down in low season.
