Tanah Rata has the majority of the area's restaurants. Cuisines include Chinese, Indian, Malay and a colonial hangover of English breakfasts and scones – but the quality is similarly variable. Brinchang has a smaller spread, including restaurants serving Chinese and steamboat (a DIY hotpot where meat and veggies are submerged in broth). Elsewhere tea, honey and strawberry-themed attractions ensure a constant supply of snacking opportunities.
