Our Itinerary: ( Duration 6 hours). 0830am - 9am Your day will begin with a pickup from your hotel reception to the Kuala Lumpur Tower for a bird's eye view of the city. This is followed by a photo shoot of the Twin Towers and Jamek Mosque - the confluence of 2 rivers where Kuala Lumpur got her name. Visit pewter factory with a guided tour to see how handcrafted souvenir items are made out of tin, copper and antimony. We move on to the famous Batu Caves to climb 272 steps to reach the Temple of Hindu Deity, Lord Subramaniam, who is honored during "Thaipusam" every year. You will also see his mesmerizing 140 foot (42.7 m) statue. Batu Caves is said to be one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India. Ladies to be properly attired to gain entrance in to the temple. 1 pm Lunch will be on a banana Leaf (eat with fingers). After lunch the tour continues to the King's Palace and the National Monument built in honor of our fallen heroes. Visit the must-see Independent Square where Malaysia got her independence from the British on August 31, 1957. A drive past the National Mosque and the Railway Station. In its vicinity is St. Mary's Cathedral - an Anglican Church with the Queen of England as the Patron. The exclusive Royal Selangor Clubhouse is of Tudor-styled design. You will then continue on for a Little India drive past and be dropped off at your hotel.
