Much of the accommodation on Nosy Be and surrounding islands are lodges comprising bungalows, although there are some hotels and resorts. There are lodges around most of the mainland's national parks. Bungalows house two to six people and have bathrooms. There are mostly hotels in Diego Suarez and the Sava region.
As it's a prime beach destination, you'll pay more for accommodation in Nosy Be than the rest of Madagascar.
