Belo is on the northern side of the Tsiribihina River so vehicles (and passengers) coming from Morondava need to use the ferry (passenger/vehicle Ar750/22,000, 45 minutes, 6am to 7pm).
There are daily taxis-brousses between Belo-sur-Tsiribihina and Morondava (Ar12,000, four hours). Departures are from the Morondava side of the river. The road is unsealed but in good condition.
These huge, 4WD army-style trucks go to Bekopaka (for Parc National des Tsingy de Bemaraha) every few days in the dry season (May to October). The trip (Ar25,000) takes anything from 10 to 24 hours and is extremely rough.
