Luxembourg’s Moselle Valley, a 42km strip along the left bank of the Moselle River, produces Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Auxerrois, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Pinot Noir. Apart from the high-yield Riverner (Müller-Thurgau), they're elegant, dry and good value. The Crémant de Luxembourg is a prized sparkling méthode traditionnelle.

Wine aside, local drink specialities include Ramborn apple cider, Cassero (blackcurrant liqueur), Vieille Prune (plum brandy) and Framboise des Bois (raspberry liqueur).
