‘Wind Paradise’ is Pāvilosta’s largest sleeping spot, with 17 tidy rooms that are simple yet feel distinctly beachy. The aloe plants are a clever touch, especially after spending one too many hours splashing around in the sea. Veju’s on-site restaurant is open during the summer months from 9am to 10pm and specialises in light, international dishes.

The place runs a fleet of traditional wooden boats, available for hire.
