There are various hiking options out of Kojo-Kelen, from a 6km radial to view the waterfall and grotto to a two-day guided trek to Sary-Mogol (tents and sleeping bags required) that crosses the 4185m Jiptik Pass with phenomenal panoramas of the Alay Mountains. To extend the Jiptik hike without doing the full seven-day trip out of Sary-Mogol organised by CBT Osh/Alay, it's also possible to tack on two days from Kyzyl-Chara to Kojo-Kelen via the Kosh-Moinok and Sary-Bel passes. Call Sabyr in advance to arrange transport, guides or horses.
