As travellers, when we’re not out exploring the world, we’re imagining our next adventure. And when it comes to imagination, kids have got it sussed. To celebrate the launch of our new site, lonelyplanetkids.com – home to all things entertaining and educational for your travellers-in-training – we’ve come up with a creative competition for kids which also doubles as a great after-school activity to keep those active imaginations occupied. The winner will get their hands on a bundle of Lonely Planet Kids books!
Imagine you’ve travelled back in time to the age of the dinosaurs. While you’re there, you discover a completely new dinosaur unknown to today’s scientists. To help the boffins learn more about your discovery, draw the beast in detail, give it a name and tell us what makes it special. The most inspiring and creative entry will win a selection of Lonely Planet Kids books, including How to be a Dinosaur Hunter!
