From tropical islands and astounding natural landscapes to bustling cities and incredible architecture, the world is undoubtedly one big and fascinating place. So, for this month’s Lonely Planet Kids creative challenge we’ve teamed up with Scribblitt to embark on an educational yet creative journey around the world.

Follow the steps below for a chance to win a copy of the new edition of Lonely Planet Kids The Travel Book and a Scribblitt voucher to publish your own hardcover book! Three sets are up for grabs!

THE TASK

Grab your pencils, pens and crayons and print our activity sheet by downloading it here. Complete the activities by following the instructions.

HOW TO ENTER

There are four ways you can help your child enter the competition:

  1. By email: Scan, upload or take a photo of their completed activity sheet and send it from your email address to Lonely Planet at lonelyplanet.kids@lonelyplanet.com.
  2. By Twitter: Tweet a photo of their activity sheet to @lpkids including #lpkidschallenge.
  3. On your blog: Post your child’s entry to your blog and email the blog link to lonelyplanet.kids@lonelyplanet.com.
  4. By post: Send a copy of their activity sheet to us via post to:

All entries must be received by 11.59pm (BST) on 30th September 2015. With all entries, please include whether you are happy for us to share your child’s entry on Twitter. This won’t affect their entry in any way.

THE PRIZE

The three most inspiring and creative entries will win a Scribblitt voucher (worth US$24.99) and the new edition of Lonely Planet Kids’ The Travel Book.

Scribblitt is a website for kids where they can use unique writing and illustration tools to create and then publish a store quality, hardcover book.
