Are you parent or guardian to a wannabe globetrotter? You are cordially invited to join Lonely Planet Kids in London this November for a wanderlust-filled weekend of family fun.
As part of the Lonely Planet pop-up photography exhibition (8-20 November), Lonely Planet Kids will be taking over for one action-packed weekend only, welcoming kids to explore the world through creative activities and workshops – and it’s all free!
If you’re London- or UK-based, or likely to be in the area, we’d love to say hello.
There’ll be plenty for kids to explore at the Lonely Planet Kids pop-up: add a splash of colour to our giant colouring wall; join a travel poetry workshop with our poet in residence, Kirstie Pelling; or visit faraway places with our virtual reality headsets.
Saturday 19 November, 12-3pm: create poetry inspired by cities with Kirstie Pelling
Sunday 20 November, 12-3pm: colour in your very own LP Kids tote bag
The first 100 families through the door on each day will receive a Lonely Planet Kids goody bag! Plus, everyone will have the chance to win £100 of LP Kids books. We’ll also be revealing the winners of our Lonely Planet Kids photo competition and offering a selection of kids’ books at 20% off.
