Welcome to Mt Kenya Region

Many visitors tend to leave this area after summiting Mt Kenya, but it's a good idea to stick around. Mwea National Reserve and Meru National Park offer some of Kenya's most underrated safari experiences – often you can drive around without seeing another car for days, keeping those lion, elephant and rhino experiences all for yourself.
