Located 156 Kilometers from Nairobi and 3 Hours drive, the Park is one of the top tourist destinations in Africa, famed for the Flamingos, both lesser and greater and Rhinos, The Flamingos  flock the shores to feed on the Algea that live in its alkaline waters. Although there is a small number as compared to the previous years the lake is a very important breeding ground and stop over for many species of birds, and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The Lake Nakuru is among Kenya's finest national parks. Flanked by rocky escarpments, pockets of acacia forest and at least one waterfall, the park is gorgeous year-round and is home to both black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and endangered Rothschild's giraffes.
