10 Days in Thailand: Phuket and Island Oases

Overview

Set sail on an unforgettable island adventure. You’ll begin your third day in Thailand at the crack of dawn, when a driver will scoop you up from your hotel. You may be tired, but the day promises to reward you for your early morning head start, as you’ll board a sailboat to the breathtaking Phi Phi Islands. As you bob over turquoise waves, you’ll gradually come into view of the iconic Maya Bay, renowned for its picturesque scenery Here, you’ll swim in Thailand’s most beloved lagoon, Pileh Lagoon, and enjoy its crystal-clear waters. Over the course of the day, you’ll also explore places such as Wang Long Bay, a hidden gem with striking limestone cliffs, and Monkey Beach, where you can observe playful monkeys in their natural habitat. You can also dive into a snorkeling session at Phi Phi Don to experience the island’s vibrant underwater world, chock full of colorful fish and unique forms of marine life. When you’re done snorkeling, you’ll head to Ao Nui to enjoy the view of Camel Rock, named for its unique shape. After participating in this rotation of activities — or similar ones, depending on the course of the day — you’ll unwind at a local restaurant for delicious Thai fare. There, you’ll also engage in a hands-on cooking activity to make a traditional Thai dessert. Once the meal wraps up, you’ll return to the pier and have the evening free in Phuket, where you can reflect on your day of action-packed adventures and unprecedented beauty. (Breakfast, Lunch)
