Burqu Ecolodge offers the only formal accommodation in the Burqu area. The RSCN also plan to offer camping in Bedouin tents in the more temperate months – March to May and October.
Wild camping is possible out here (don’t pitch too close to the lake because of biting insects). The local Bedouin are bound to find you and wonder what you are doing here, and likely invite you to tea.
You'll need to be self-sufficient at Burqu, unless you are staying at Burqu Ecolodge, which is full board.
