Getting There & Away
- Walking There are four major entry points to Jerusalem's Old City: Jaffa Gate, Damascus Gate, Dung Gate and Lions' Gate. Most visitors enter through Jaffa Gate, which leads straight into the Christian and Armenian Quarters. Damascus Gate leads straight into the Muslim Quarter; Lions' Gate to the start of the Via Dolorosa; and Dung Gate to the Jewish Quarter (Western Wall).
- Light Rail Stops at City Hall (from where it's a short walk to Jaffa or New gates) and Damascus gates.
- Bus 1 and 3 from the Central Bus Station arrive near Dung Gate and the Western Wall.
- Shuttle A free shuttle goes from the First Station complex in the German Colony to Dung Gate with various stops in the Old City.
